super clean and fresh smelling - right in the plaza - so close to the amazing monastery - the lovely Isabel who gave us insider tips and carried our bags up the stairs, and the generous breakfast buffet that surpassed expectations.

I recently stayed at Hotel San Marcus for the second time in four years and had a wonderful experience. Isabel, the host, was incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the monastery's towers, and we loved the furnished bathroom. The self-serve breakfast exceeded our expectations and the location was perfect - just a two-minute walk to the monastery. The staff was welcoming and went above and beyond in terms of customer service. a great value and a memorable stay.

My room included central heating, multi-channel television, and a writing desk.

The rooms are well-furnished, with a balcony and a view of the monastery's towers. We also loved the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the accommodation. The self-serve breakfast exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of options, including bread, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal. The fact that we could control the space heater in our room was a major benefit. the hotel offers great value and is not penny-pinching for profits. We truly felt at home here.

Oh, but I was so disappointed that I couldn't find any Roman Walls of Lugo! I was really looking forward to adding "exploring ancient ruins" to my posh lady repertoire.

The staff was super welcoming and the room had an amazing balcony view. The beds were so comfy and the bathtub was a great treat after a long day of walking. Plus, the location was perfect, right across the street from a beautiful monastery and some great restaurants. Loved every minute of our stay!

The WiFi wasn't working during our stay, but they were in the process of fixing it. , on the second morning, some guests were being a bit loud during breakfast, which was a bit annoying.
